“Double Raven & Elder Story
Paddle”
Red cedar. Raven
and Elder on the handle and a Raven carved in the paddle. This Totemic-Style
Story Paddle tells a story of a Raven man asking the village Elder to
approve his relationship with a Raven girl. Traditionally, a person who is

style is contemporary because his paddles are 3-dimensional. The artist
first learned two dimensional relief, then later he learned to carve totems.
He combines the styles in his paddles. 4 feet long X 5.5 inches wide. By
Fred Lauth, Jr. $1,000.00 (#1243) |
