stone from British Columbia
which turns black when polished. (Not to be confused with the Haida’s
argillite). The Thunderbird is the god of rain in our land. His wings are
the thunder, his eye is the lightening, he spills the water from his back.

Keet
with Children
Chlorite. Chlorite
is a stone from British Columbia
which turns black when polished. (Not to be confused with the Haida’s
argillite). The killer whale is still common in our waters, but the birth
of two to the Puget Sound pod in 2000 was cause for celebration. This hand etched stone is the
artist's small remembrance to them.
18x9x6 inches. By
Ben Paul. $750.00 (#1180)
