"Chilkat
Doll"
Doll dressed in Tlingit Chilkat regalia. Chilkat weaving is a
treasured and endangered art practice. Chilkat blankets and headdresses are
worn in traditional and secular ceremonies, and pieces woven in the
traditional Chilkat way take many months and sometimes years to complete.
This doll-size regalia took 150 hours to complete. Includes blanket, tunic,
headband, moccasins and leggings. 14 x 8 inches. By
