"Turtle Island Necklace"
Necklace featuring old beads and Sterling silver turtles. A recent
acquisition, The Hill Tribe's deceptively crude .925 sterling hand made
turtles brought this piece together. The turtles served to remind us that
indigenous people know the continents as Turtle Islands. The indigenous
silver turtles carry this unique petit
collection of stone, glass, crystal and silver, assembled from
many continents, into the new millennium as a fashion element to be worn as
attire for contemporary events, ceremony, or dancing...(more

"Whale's Tail Necklace"
Necklace featuring bone Whale’s Tail
(complements Whales Tail Hat).
The 18" hand four strand braided cord is
waxed Irish linen fashioned to represent ancient Ravenstail chevron braid
fringe. It is embellished with exotic bone imported from the Orient during
the 1980s. The tan and brown linen cordage is finished with a .5 inch bone
button and loop closure. The central drop Whale's Tail is 1.75 inch wide x
.75 inch high. 3/8" beads are replicas of bird-bone-beads adorning ancient
Aleut Whaler's Regalia.
